Construction of a composite forced draft cooling tower in the Třinec Iron and Steel Works
The construction involved a cooling tower containing a fan with a diameter of 6m. The fan is mounted on the PMH45-180D/400V slow-run motor. The cooling system consists of foil blocks of the REKO 20 cooling fill. Pultruded composite profiles were used for the supporting structure of the cooling tower.
