Construction of two forced draft cooling towers for emergency core cooling
The construction involved two reinforced concrete cooling towers, each containing a fan with a diameter of 8m. The fans are mounted on the PMH125-180D/400V slow-run motors. The cooling system consists of blocks of the REKO 20. The whole facility is designed for extreme operating conditions in accordance with the requirements of nuclear safety.
